If you’re thinking, “Hey, this is the first dispatch I’ve received, but it’s day 4”, this is the first dispatch. You haven’t missed anything. I started the count with the first day I had a fever, which was Tuesday.
The bad news: Linda just received her results and she’s positive, too. We’re both surprised. We’ve been very careful around each other. She doesn’t have symptoms. Well, she doesn’t have any new symptoms recently. She had a cough for a couple of weeks. We attributed that to the leaf shredder. She ran thousands of leaves through that thing.
The good news: We feel fine. I slept better last night. Both our vitals are good. I haven’t had a fever today, although I’ve been alternating Tylenol and Advil to help with the aches, so that probably suppressed the fever.
Boredom may become the biggest enemy. I watched episodes of “The Bionic Woman”, “Six Million Dollar Man”, and “Emergency!”. In case you were wondering, 1970’s TV doesn’t really hold up today.
We’ll send another dispatch tomorrow evening, if Linda can pull me away from the NFL playoffs.
